Resources

Welcome to our growing library of tools designed to make graduate school a little less overwhelming and a lot more manageable. Here you’ll find blogs that unpack common challenges, templates and guides to keep you organized and on track, and videos that walk you through key strategies step by step. Whether you’re looking for insight, structure, or practical support, this is the place to start.

What You’ll Find Here
Our Resource Library is organized to give graduate students exactly what they need at each stage of the dissertation journey:

  • Blog: Thoughtful pieces that unpack the emotional, institutional, and practical challenges of graduate school — from academic hazing, to isolation, to navigating committee dynamics.

  • General Outlines: High-level structural maps that show you what each dissertation section should look like. These provide the overall flow — headings, subheadings, what belongs where, and the logical order of a well-designed chapter. If you need a blueprint before you begin writing, start here.

  • Guidelines: More detailed, instruction-driven documents that explain how to write each part of the dissertation. These offer expectations, best practices, writing tips, and committee-friendly standards. If you want direction, clarity, and criteria, this is your category.

Together, these resources help you understand both the structure (outlines) and the execution (guidelines), while the blog gives you context, insight, and support for the human side of the process.
