How an Audit works

  1. You submitYour chapter or dissertation, what's already approved, outstanding committee feedback, any institutional requirements, and one or two questions you want answered—or ask us to identify the priorities.
  2. Your review beginsA specialist starts your review and you're notified. From that point the purchase is nonrefundable; your delivery time still counts from payment and your complete submission.
  3. Initial analysisAI tools assist with an initial analysis, each possible finding tied to a passage in your work.
  4. Specialist reviewA dissertation specialist checks the findings against your submitted work, corrects or removes unsupported points, and adds what's missing.
  5. Approval and deliveryOnly a report the specialist has approved is delivered: answers to your questions, prioritized findings with examples from your writing, and practical next steps.

Both Audits include

  • Answers to your one or two focus questions—or identification of the main priorities if you're unsure what to ask.
  • Prioritized findings, categorized as high, medium or low where relevant.

Audits are focused diagnostic reviews. They do not include line editing, rewriting, line-by-line citation corrections, a full APA or other style-guide compliance review, or a consultation.

The free Dissertation Diagnosis assessment works from your self-reported answers. An Audit examines the work you submit. You don't need one to use the other, and your free result is yours either way.

Limits and delivery

  • References and appendices provide context, do not count toward these limits, and are not comprehensively reviewed.
  • Larger submissions require an individual quote.
  • Delivery time begins once payment and your complete submission have been received.
  • Submit your work within 30 days of purchase. If your submission isn't complete by then, we'll cancel the Audit, refund you in full and delete anything you've uploaded.

A full refund is available before your review begins. Once the review has begun, the purchase is nonrefundable.
